My Unique Commission Process
I love producing one-of-a-kind meaningful pieces to bless my commission clients’ homes! It is truly a co-creative and collaborative process between my client, myself, and God. I would love to connect with you for a free initial consultation to see if a commissioned piece would be a good fit!
My process:
Book a short initial free consultation to see if an art commission is right for you. If you decide to move forward, we will schedule a longer 1:1 conversation.
During our 1:1 session, we will meet over Zoom or by phone to have a conversation where I get to know you better. I will ask questions like, “What are you dreaming of?”, or “What is in your heart?”. This is where I get to know you and understand the beauty of your unique story. You will also have an opportunity to share imagery that is meaningful to you, as well as favorite themes, sizes, and styles.
Details matter. Next we will discuss medium (graphite, pen, acrylic, or oil paint), size, timeline, and budget.
I will utilize my notes from our conversation to connect with the Lord and uncover inspiration for your piece. I will prepare a quick sketch with my vision for your piece, as well as recommendations on size and medium and will send these to you along with the notes I took during our session. I value your privacy, and these notes will never be shared with anyone else.
We will connect so that you may approve my vision and plan for your piece, or ask for any minor revisions you’d like to request.
When I receive your approval you will be charged a 50% deposit, and I will get to work crafting your unique piece with meticulous attention to detail. Please allow 4-6 weeks for the completion of your one-of-a-kind piece.
Once complete, you will pay the remaining balance of your commission and I will ship your finished original piece of art, along with a handwritten letter explaining the vision I received for the piece, as well as any words of encouragement or scriptures I feel that God would like conveyed to you.
Current investment for commissions is between $299-$499, depending on the size and medium chosen.
Previous Commission Client Experiences
Beacon of Hope: 11” x 14” graphite on paper
“Jackie is a gifted artist and her artwork brings beauty into my home. But her gift goes way beyond creating beauty in the natural sense. She captures the love of God in a unique and personal way as she listens for His heart in every piece that she creates. Everyday I look at the lighthouse drawing, I am encouraged as I remember the beautiful words He spoke to her about me, and that she expressed through her art. Thank you for sharing your gift Jackie.”

Take My Hand: 8.5” x 11” graphite on paper
“When Jackie created my picture for me she first listened to what was going on in my life and my heart, and that itself was a gift. At the time God was calling me into the unknown, it was a season of great trial and pain, and I felt like these lyrics kept playing over and over from Him “take my hand and we’ll stumble through the dark, lose sight of who you are, only to find your way back home.” It was going to be a season of building incredible trust with the Lord, and I had to cling to Him. When Jackie first showed me what she had depicted I couldn’t believe how she could capture the nearness of Him in such a simple yet intimate way. I treasure it so much that when the fires came through Oregon it was the first thing I thought of to take if I had to evacuate. For a long time it was a beautiful reminder that I had to look at intentionally daily, of God’s nearness and love for me, a reminder to trust Him, and that He wasn’t letting go. Now it is a treasured reminder His faithfulness and who He gets to be for me. I believe art is such an incredibly special way to create monuments to who God is, and what he has done, and I am so thankful for Jackie’s gift of creating that.”

Psalm 121
“Jackie painted this for me at a time when many of the circumstances of my life were troubled and uncertain. This painting based on Psalm 121 reminds me that even though my path is not always visible to my eye, my Guide and my God continually illuminates the way to Jesus. I keep this prophetic piece on my piano, so that when I seek him in worship, I’m reminded of the faithfulness of His promises in the psalm. I have a tangible and visible reminder of His promise to watch over my life everyday.”

Impartation of Joy: 16” x 20” acrylic on canvas
“The prophetic is simply a gift to “retell” what God is saying and doing. The hearing of His voice connects us to a true understanding of both Him and ourselves. Jackie has a unique gift to “retell” God’s heart in her artwork. Her spirit is tuned in to listen to God and you. As a result, she produces a piece of art that is a prophetic statement of your identity. Her personal engagement with each art piece reflects the heart of God’s attention to detail in each of us! I highly recommend her work and heart!”

Dream Again: 12” x 12” oil on board
This painting was a gift to a friend. Inspired by Dreama Tolle Perry’s “Art in Provence” class.
“Jackie’s painting reminds me that God sees me, knows me, and has a calling on my life into His purposes and delights. I keep it next to my bed so I can see it everyday to be encouraged and not to lose heart when it feels like His promises are long in coming.”

Palm of Your Hand: 8.5” x 11” oil on canvas
“This picture was painted by Jackie for me when my life was spinning out of control and I was in deep pain over the condition of my family. What a gift this painting was! It continues to remind me we are in the palm of God’s capable, loving hands. I am reminded over and over that He is in control and my job is to let go and trust Him. The palm tree is sturdy and tall against the multi-colored vibrant sky. Thanks Jackie!”
