Take My Hand: 8.5”X11” Graphite on paper
“When Jackie created my picture for me she first listened to what was going on in my life and my heart, and that itself was a gift. At the time God was calling me into the unknown, it was a season of great trial and pain, and I felt like these lyrics kept playing over and over from Him “take my hand and we’ll stumble through the dark, lose sight of who you are, only to find your way back home.” It was going to be a season of building incredible trust with the Lord, and I had to cling to Him. When Jackie first showed me what she had depicted I couldn’t believe how she could capture the nearness of Him in such a simple yet intimate way. I treasure it so much that when the fires came through Oregon it was the first thing I thought of to take if I had to evacuate. For a long time it was a beautiful reminder that I had to look at intentionally daily, of God’s nearness and love for me, a reminder to trust Him, and that He wasn’t letting go. Now it is a treasured reminder His faithfulness and who He gets to be for me. I believe art is such an incredibly special way to create monuments to who God is, and what he has done, and I am so thankful for Jackie’s gift of creating that.” Stephanie V.
Psalm 121: 9”x12” Oil on board
“Jackie painted this for me at a time when many of the circumstances of my life were troubled and uncertain. This painting based on Psalm 121 reminds me that even though my path is not always visible to my eye, my Guide and my God continually illuminates the way to Jesus. I keep this prophetic piece on my piano, so that when I seek him in worship, I’m reminded of the faithfulness of His promises in the psalm. I have a tangible and visible reminder of His promise to watch over my life everyday.” Sarah C.
Impartation of Joy: 16”x20” Acrylic on canvas
“The prophetic is simply a gift to “retell” what God is saying and doing. The hearing of His voice connects us to a true understanding of both Him and ourselves. Jackie has a unique gift to “retell” God’s heart in her artwork. Her spirit is tuned in to listen to God and you. As a result, she produces a piece of art that is a prophetic statement of your identity. Her personal engagement with each art piece reflects the heart of God’s attention to detail in each of us! I highly recommend her work and heart!” John Dresser, Founder of Workers for Joy
